ABOUT ME

Anna Dedman

Hi, I'm Anna Dedman, a Grade 12 student from Chinese International School in Hong Kong who has a passion for physics.

A former summer school student at Oxford University and Spoleto Art Program, I have a particular interest in physics, math, art, history, and education, and how they connect.

Born and raised in Hong Kong by an American father and a Chinese mother, a former diplomat, and a journalist, respectively. I’ve gravitated toward understanding the world through an interdisciplinary lens, looking at connections between nature and society.

I’ve been particularly inspired by my great uncle, Lyman Spitzer for his pioneering work in astrophysics.
